Tortworth

Tortworth is best known for its ancient chestnut tree - believed to be 800 years old.

The Tortworth Estate owns much of the surrounding countryside (there's an excellent farm shop), but Tortworth Court itself is now a 4-star hotel.

Tortworth is just off junction 14 of the M5, on the B4509, and has a primary school and church (St Leonard's).
